Training resistance bands have been a key product for therapists and coaches for many years, allowing them to apply resistance to exactly the right muscles they want to target. The bands can be used long or short to adapt the resistance and because they flex you can perform tri-planer movements.
The adidas Training Bands aren't intended to create very 'heavy' resistance. Their design allows you to wrap them across muscles so that you can challenge those muscles directly rather than having your arms and legs working as part of the movement.
Performing classic exercises like push ups and crunches with the training band, you will get a more targeted toning and strength experience. Just a few exercise ideas are printed on the bands but the possibilities really are endless, especially when you begin to attach the bands to the opposite sides of your body as this produces muscle activity called 'contralateral' as well as 'ipso'lateral'- both of which are fantastic exercises for conditioning.
